Manager - Commercial Forecasting in Hyderabad, भारत

Amgen seeks a Manager of Commercial Forecasting for its Business Analytics & Insights team in Hyderabad, India. The role involves building pharmaceutical forecast models, generating data-driven insights for cross-functional stakeholders, and supporting global pipeline assets across multiple geographies with minimum on-site presence of 4 days weekly.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and enhance Excel-based forecast models for patients, sales, prescriptions, and revenue
• Interpret large datasets and apply industry knowledge to integrate market dynamics and competitor insights into forecasts
• Collaborate with forecasting teams across U.S., Portugal, and India offices to align on methodology and deliverables
• Support development of long-range and annual operating plans across business units
• Contribute to building new forecasting capabilities and reusable tools within Amgen India

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 8-13 years pharmaceutical forecasting or commercial analytics experience
• Expertise in patient-based and demand-based forecasting methodologies
• Advanced Excel proficiency; Python or SQL knowledge preferred
• Familiarity with syndicated pharmaceutical data sources such as IQVIA and Evaluate
• Experience with generative AI tools for insights or workflow automation
• Strong cross-cultural collaboration and project management capabilities
