ICON seeks a Manager of Clinical Data Science to lead data management teams across clinical trials. The role combines operational oversight of data coordinators and specialists with people leadership, ensuring compliance, quality delivery, and client satisfaction in a sponsor-dedicated model.

Responsibilities

  • Provide line management and mentorship to clinical data coordinators and specialists
  • Oversee delivery of data management activities aligned with timelines and quality standards
  • Monitor operational metrics, productivity, and implement corrective actions
  • Maintain compliance with ICH-GCP and regulatory requirements; represent function in audits
  • Foster innovation adoption and drive process improvements across data management activities

Requirements

  • Extensive clinical data management experience across full trial lifecycle
  • 2+ years of people management with performance management and workforce planning
  • Proficiency with multiple EDC systems and clinical reporting tools
  • Experience managing project delivery and cross-functional stakeholder relationships
  • Knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines and regulatory requirements
  • Prior experience supervising team leads or equivalent roles
  • Track record in process improvement and quality management systems
