This role leads commercial expansion of cell and gene therapy solutions at Thermo Fisher Scientific, targeting biotech, pharma, and research organizations. The manager will identify market opportunities, build customer relationships, and drive revenue growth through integrated product and service offerings.
Responsibilities
Drive business growth and revenue targets for cell and gene therapy portfolio across assigned territories
Identify and qualify new opportunities within biotech firms, pharma companies, CDMOs, and research institutes
Develop relationships with scientific, manufacturing, and procurement stakeholders
Deliver integrated workflow solutions collaborating with technical specialists and application scientists
Conduct product demonstrations, customer presentations, and scientific discussions to raise market awareness
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in biotechnology, life sciences, biochemistry, or related scientific field
6–10 years commercial experience in life sciences, biotechnology, biopharma, or cell and gene therapy
Technical sales, business development, or account management background in life sciences
Understanding of cell and gene therapy workflows including viral vectors and bioprocessing
Demonstrated ability to manage sales pipelines and achieve revenue targets
Strong consultative selling and business development skills
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation abilities
