We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Head to lead and manage overall maintenance activities related to moulds, machines, electrical systems, and ancillary equipment . The candidate will be responsible for preventive maintenance, breakdown analysis, maintenance planning, critical spares management, vendor coordination, and ensuring maximum equipment availability.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and monitor overall maintenance activities for moulds, machines, electrical systems, and ancillary equipment.
Review machine, mould, ancillary, and electrical breakdowns , identify recurring issues, and ensure timely corrective actions.
Prepare and monitor preventive maintenance plans and schedules for machines, moulds, electrical systems, and other plant equipment.
Review and maintain mould maintenance reports, mould history records, and maintenance records .
Monitor mould life and conduct analysis of expired/near-expiry moulds based on mould history and usage records.
Review preventive maintenance records and ensure maintenance activities are completed as per schedule.
Monitor and review electrical maintenance activities and records to ensure reliable plant operations.
Inspect new moulds and machines and coordinate for proper installation, commissioning, and readiness.
Ensure proper implementation of 5S practices within the maintenance department.
Coordinate and follow up with external agencies/vendors for mould, machine, electrical, and ancillary maintenance work.
Review mould location and inspection records and ensure proper tracking and control of moulds.
Prepare, review, and maintain the critical spare parts list and ensure availability of essential spares.
Coordinate with Production, Quality, Engineering, and other departments to minimize breakdowns and production downtime .
Analyze maintenance performance and identify opportunities for cost reduction, reliability improvement, and preventive maintenance .
Conduct monthly maintenance review meetings , evaluate performance, and monitor closure of action points.
Ensure proper documentation and compliance with the company's maintenance systems, procedures, and safety requirements .
