About the job

As a junior legal associate specializing in litigation and non-litigation matters, you will provide comprehensive legal support to the organization. You will work closely with senior attorneys and assist with a wide range of legal tasks, including case preparation, legal research, document drafting, and advisory matters.

Key Responsibilities

A. Litigation support:
1. Conduct legal research and analysis to support case preparation.
2. Assist in drafting legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
3. Review case files, gather evidence, and prepare trial materials.
4. Attend court hearings, take notes, and assist in preparing legal arguments.
5. Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and provide updates on case progress.
6. Maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date case files and documentation.

B. Legal research and analysis:
1. Stay updated on legal developments, judicial precedents, and changes in legislation.
2. Conduct in-depth legal research to support litigation strategies and non-litigation matters.
3. Analyze complex legal issues and provide accurate and timely legal advice to clients or internal stakeholders, under appropriate supervision.
4. Prepare legal summaries, memoranda, and reports communicating research findings and recommendations.

C. Collaboration and communication:
1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, other legal associates, and external counsel.
2. Communicate effectively with clients, internal stakeholders, and external parties.
3. Assist in client meetings, interviews, and depositions, as required.
4. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
5. Support senior attorneys in coordinating legal matters and meeting deadlines.

5. Proficiency in legal research tools and databases.

6. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

7. Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

8. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
