Lead Systems Designer - IoMT Installed Base (IB) in Bangalore, भारत

GE HealthCare seeks a Lead Systems Designer to provide technical leadership for the architecture, reliability, and lifecycle evolution of deployed IoMT medical device products. This senior role drives system strategy, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional collaboration while mentoring engineering teams and investigating complex customer issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead system architecture, design, and technical strategy for the installed product portfolio
• Drive investigations of customer, field, quality, and cybersecurity issues with root cause analysis
• Partner with cross-functional teams to translate customer needs into robust system solutions
• Ensure compliance with QMS, Design Control, Risk Management, and regulatory requirements
• Mentor engineering teams on systems engineering practices and design integration

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or STEM discipline
• 10+ years of industry experience in software, systems engineering, or product development
• 3+ years of experience in MedTech or regulated product development
• Expertise in Systems Engineering, System Architecture, QMS, Design Controls, and Risk Management
• Demonstrated experience leading customer investigations, CAPA, change management, and cross-functional initiatives
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and technical mentoring skills
• Ability to influence across organizations and lead without direct authority
