Fortrea seeks a Lead Safety Systems Specialist to oversee pharmacovigilance system implementation, configuration, and support for internal and external clients. The role requires expertise in safety systems management, data extraction, and cross-functional collaboration in a life-science environment.
Responsibilities
Conduct project-specific configurations and maintain safety system documentation based on requirements and changes
Develop standard and ad hoc reports from safety systems using advanced conditions and Standard MedDRA Queries
Execute routine data extraction activities including PSURs, DSURs, and periodic listings
Lead data migration activities, manage change implementation, and provide end-user training and support
Evaluate technical impacts of proposed changes, manage vendor relationships, and resolve system issues through ticket management
Requirements
Life science or IT/computing degree, or equivalent relevant experience
Minimum 4 years with drug safety systems such as Argus, ARISg, or Veeva
Experience in systems operations support and validated document management systems
Strong Microsoft Office and Windows proficiency with system integration knowledge
Excellent written and verbal communication with meticulous attention to detail
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work effectively in team settings
