GE HealthCare seeks a Lead Industrial Engineer to enhance manufacturing excellence across product lines in Bengaluru. The role involves optimizing processes, conducting work measurement studies, implementing automation and digitization, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across regulated medical device manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities
Analyze manufacturing processes to identify bottlenecks and implement productivity improvements
Conduct motion and time studies to establish production standards and optimize operations
Lead process optimization and capacity planning to maximize throughput and equipment utilization
Design and optimize manufacturing layouts, workstations, and production lines for workflow efficiency
Drive Lean, Kaizen, and Six Sigma initiatives; support automation and Industry 4.0 projects
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline
Minimum 7 years of industrial engineering or manufacturing excellence experience
Demonstrated expertise in motion studies, time studies, and work measurement
Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
Experience with manufacturing capacity planning, line balancing, and layout design using AutoCAD
Hands-on experience leading automation and digitization projects
Experience in regulated manufacturing environments such as medical devices or pharmaceuticals
