Lead Cloud Platform Engineer role supporting enterprise data and analytics operations on Azure and Databricks. Combines DevOps automation, infrastructure-as-code, and reliability engineering to maintain platform security, availability, and operational excellence for global data teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for code packaging, quality checks, and multi-environment deployments
• Write and maintain Terraform modules for repeatable provisioning of Azure and Databricks platform components
• Configure and troubleshoot RBAC, service principals, managed identities, secrets, and access controls across data services
• Build monitoring, alerts, dashboards, and runbooks; lead incident response and root-cause analysis
• Deploy and operationalize data ingestion pipelines, orchestration, and platform services with engineering teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical discipline
• 5–7 years designing and supporting cloud data platforms, data warehouses, and modern data ecosystems
• Hands-on expertise with Azure Databricks, Synapse Analytics, ADLS Gen2, Azure SQL, Data Factory, Key Vault, Unity Catalog
• Experience implementing platform security controls, governance frameworks, and Azure data best practices
• Proficiency in Terraform Infrastructure as Code and Azure DevOps CI/CD pipeline automation
• Demonstrated cloud platform monitoring, optimization, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and incident management
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills
