Beckman Coulter Life Sciences seeks a Senior Data Scientist to develop advanced analytics, operations research, and machine learning solutions for supply chain optimization. The role involves designing scalable optimization models, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and translating business problems into data-driven recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Partner with supply chain leaders to identify opportunities and translate business needs into analytical solutions
• Design and implement scalable operations research and optimization solutions for inventory, allocation, and resource planning
• Develop machine learning, forecasting, and AI solutions to improve business decision-making and operational performance
• Lead data science initiatives from problem formulation through deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement
• Collaborate with data engineers and ML engineers; provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior data scientists

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 7+ years experience, or Master's degree with 5+ years, in Operations Research, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, or related quantitative field
• Strong expertise in mathematical optimization: LP, MIP/MILP, Constraint Programming, Nonlinear Programming
• Experience solving supply chain problems including inventory optimization, allocation, scheduling, network optimization
• Proficient in Python and SQL with hands-on experience using Gurobi, CPLEX, OR-Tools, AIMMS, or Xpress
• Minimum 2 years supply chain analytics experience and practical machine learning and forecasting knowledge
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
