Accounting professional with 4-6 years of experience in financial reporting, month-end closing, accruals, inventory accounting, and audits. Skilled in SAP/ERP systems, process improvement, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting while working closely with finance teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead E2E service delivery for accounting and reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with established standards.
• Manage month-end-close activities to ensure the timely and accurate closure of books.
• Prepare and review accounting accruals, including inventory, operating expenses, and payroll-related items.
• Prepare and coordinate statutory audit schedules and respond to audit queries for assigned areas.
• Lead and support in process standardization, centralization and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Partner with local finance teams to resolve day-to-day operational and accounting issues.
• Prepare inventory accruals including Expiry and Expected obsolescent (EEO), Scrap, Transfer pricing etc.
• Build strong quality checks in internal controls to strengthen process accuracy.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Chartered Accountant or Cost and Management Accountant with 4–5 years of relevant experience.
• Alternatively, a semi-qualified CA or CMA/ICWA with 5–6 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting gaap (Preferably USGAAP/IFRS), financial reporting, and close processes.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with a major ERP or financial system, such as SAP or Hyperion.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to perform effectively under pressure.
• Analytical and detail-oriented, with a strong focus on accuracy, urgency, and meeting deadlines.
• Collaborative team player with the flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as required.
