L3 Application Support Specialist (SQL)

Responsibilities:

Level 3 support for business-critical global reporting applications which use BI Architecture. The responsibilities include assistance with application/batch monitoring, infrastructure support, installation and configuration expertise, operational housekeeping and maintenance and the code competency expertise to carry out Tier 3 incident resolution and problem analysis.

Key responsibilities include:

This role requires knowledge of SQL, SSIS/ETL, SSRS and needs an experience supporting applications, batch jobs, troubleshooting ETL/batch failures, incidents, user/performance issues. Coordination and collaboration skills to work with multiple teams like Infrastructure, DBA or Business is required.

Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities:

• 3 to 7 years of experience.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and work well within a team environment.
• Ability and willingness to help/mentor colleagues and share experiences to strengthen the team’s success.

• Microsoft SQL 2019/2022, Integration services (SSIS), Reporting services (SSRS)
• ETL tools/Transact SQL

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Knowledge of ticketing tools such as Service Now (desired)
• Python knowledge (desired)
