Adaaran Select Hudhuran Fushi is hiring a Kitchen Steward for its kitchen stewarding team in the Maldives. This is a full-time, on-site resort position based in North Malé Atoll. Maintains clean and organised back-of-house kitchen facilities to support safe and efficient food production.
About This Role
Maintains clean and organised back-of-house kitchen facilities to support safe and efficient food production. The role supports coordinated service in a premium all-inclusive island resort, with a focus on safety, responsible operations, accuracy and helpful teamwork with colleagues from other departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Wash, sanitise, dry and store crockery, cookware and utensils.
- Operate dishwashing equipment and use cleaning products safely.
- Keep kitchen floors, preparation support areas and waste stations clean.
- Support waste segregation, removal and hygienic bin management.
- Report equipment faults, shortages and potential safety hazards.
- Coordinate clean utensil availability with chefs and service teams.
Useful Experience and Skills
- Familiarity with sanitation and basic kitchen cleaning practices.
- Careful handling of chemicals and cleaning equipment.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy back-of-house environment.
- Team spirit, punctuality and awareness of workplace safety.
