Role Overview

We are looking for an SEO & Website Management Executive with 1–3 years of hands-on experience in On-Page SEO, Off-Page SEO, Backlink Building, Local SEO, Google Business Profile, AEO and GEO .

The candidate will be responsible for executing SEO strategies across multiple client accounts and improving their organic search visibility, website performance and local presence.

Key Responsibilities

On-Page SEO

• Keyword research, keyword mapping and search-intent analysis.

• Optimise meta titles, meta descriptions, H1/H2/H3 tags and URLs.

• Content optimisation and internal linking.

• Image optimisation and alt-text implementation.

• Identify and resolve basic on-page SEO issues.

• Optimise landing pages and website content for organic search.

Off-Page SEO & Backlink Building

• Plan and execute backlink-building activities.

• Identify relevant and high-quality backlink opportunities.

• Guest posting, directory submissions, business listings and outreach.

• Conduct competitor backlink analysis.

• Monitor backlink quality, authority and relevance.

• Maintain backlink tracking sheets and monthly reports.

• Identify and address potentially harmful or low-quality backlinks.

Local SEO

• Manage and optimise Google Business Profiles for clients.

• Optimise business categories, services, descriptions and locations.

• Manage local citations and business listings.

• Conduct local keyword research.

• Support review and reputation management.

• Improve local search and Google Maps visibility.

• Monitor Google Business Profile insights and performance.

AEO & GEO

• Optimise content for Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO) .

• Develop content around FAQs, conversational queries and search intent.

• Optimise content for featured snippets and direct answers.

• Understand and implement Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) principles.

• Identify opportunities to improve brand visibility across AI-powered search and answer engines.

Website Management

• Manage basic website updates through WordPress/CMS.

• Upload and optimise blogs, pages, images and landing pages.

• Identify broken links, indexing issues and other basic website problems.

• Coordinate with content, design and development teams for website updates.

• Ensure websites follow basic SEO and user-experience best practices.

SEO Tools & Reporting

• Work with Google Search Console and Google Analytics.

• Use SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Ubersuggest or similar.

• Track keyword rankings, organic traffic, backlinks and SEO performance.

• Conduct competitor and website audits.

• Prepare weekly/monthly SEO reports and recommendations.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of hands-on SEO experience.

• Strong understanding of On-Page SEO, Off-Page SEO and Local SEO .

• Practical experience in backlink building and link acquisition .

• Experience managing Google Business Profiles .

• Working knowledge of keyword research and SEO tools.

• Basic knowledge of WordPress/CMS.

• Understanding of AEO and GEO is preferred.

• Good analytical and communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple client accounts and deadlines.

• Digital marketing agency experience preferred.
