About the job

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform outreach to potential commercial, industrial, residential, or institutional clients, IPPs, and EPC contractors via phone calls, emails, and professional networks.
2. Assess prospective client requirements (roof availability, power consumption, project scope, budget) and qualify inbound/outbound leads for the senior sales and engineering teams.
3. Communicate key value propositions regarding our Solar EPC capabilities, equipment sourcing (Modules, Inverters, BoS components), and financial payback/ROI.
4. Maintain systematic follow-ups with leads, manage lead pipelines, and update status in the CRM system daily.
5. Schedule qualified business development meetings, site surveys, and technical pitch presentations for senior Sales Managers / Business Development Executives.
6. Coordinate incoming procurement inquiries for solar components (Modules, Inverters, Structures, Cables, BoS) and gather technical specifications for quotation preparation.
7. Maintain awareness of industry trends, competitor offerings, and the regulatory landscape (net metering, open access, government rooftop schemes).

1. Experience: 0 to 2 years of experience in outbound calling, inside sales, or tele-sales within the Solar / Energy / Electrical EPC, Solar Module/Inverter/BoS manufacturing, or distribution industries.

2. ​Educational Background: Graduate in any discipline (BE / https://jobeax.com/link/2DENLGgQM7whDhaE in Electrical, Mechanical, Energy, or Electronics preferred).

3. Technical Familiarity: Clear understanding of basic solar terminology (kWp/MWp scale, Solar Modules, On-grid/Off-grid Inverters, Balance of System, Rooftop vs. Ground-mounted systems).

4. ​Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi (knowledge of regional languages is a plus).

5. ​Sales Acumen: Strong persuasion, objection handling, active listening, and negotiation skills.

6. ​Tools Knowledge: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho CRM, LeadSquared, or similar).
