About the job

As a Junior Packaging Machine Operator at Ono Teas in Navi Mumbai, you'll support day-to-day packaging operations, learning to run equipment safely while helping maintain production flow and quality standards.

Key responsibilities:

1. Assist with setting up packaging machines and checking that materials and basic settings are ready before a run.
2. Operate assigned equipment under guidance, following work instructions and established safety procedures.
3. Monitor machine operation and packaged output, reporting stoppages, irregularities, or defects promptly.
4. Perform routine checks on packaging quality, including appearance, seals, labels, and quantities, and flag any results outside specifications.
5. Record production counts, quality checks, downtime, and material usage accurately in the required logs.
6. Help keep the work area, machines, and tools clean and orderly, following applicable hygiene and safety practices.
7. Coordinate with operators and supervisors during changeovers and handovers to support production schedules and consistent quality.
