Pfizer seeks a Junior Officer for pharmaceutical manufacturing in Goa, India. The role involves maintaining production and packaging machinery, performing quality checks, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives while adhering to cGMP and safety standards.
Responsibilities
Conduct preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production machinery with accurate documentation
Perform specification checks, interpret blueprints and engineering specifications for operation setup
Setup, operate, troubleshoot, and monitor critical production machines; perform daily routine maintenance
Record process parameters, conduct in-process quality checks, and maintain ERP system records
Train colleagues for cross-training and capability enhancement; support Kaizen and innovation projects
Requirements
High school diploma or GED with 4+ years relevant experience
Troubleshooting expertise on production equipment including electrical and mechanical systems
Ability to read technical instructions and comprehend manufacturing documentation
Strong knowledge of safety policies and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
Independent completion of recurring assignments under general supervision
Mechanical and electrical skills with manufacturing equipment knowledge
- Assist in mechanical engineering, production, manufacturing, maintenance, or quality-related activities. - Read and understand mechanical drawings, specifications, and technical documents. - Monitor machines, equipment, and production processes.
