About the job

Key responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain firmware for Cosy's indoor farming systems.
2. Work with microcontrollers, sensors, relays, pumps, lighting, actuators, and other embedded hardware.
3. Write, test, and debug embedded C/C++ firmware.
4. Integrate sensors and peripherals using protocols such as UART, I2C and SPI.
5. Support hardware bring-up, testing, and debugging of electronic boards.
6. Diagnose firmware, wiring, sensor, and communication issues.
7. Work closely with mechanical and product teams to integrate electronics into Cosy's farm units.
8. Develop reliable logic for monitoring and controlling systems such as lighting, irrigation, pumps, environmental sensors and alarms.
9. Test prototypes in real operating conditions and troubleshoot failures.
10. Assist with PCB testing, component validation and hardware revisions.
11. Maintain firmware versions, test records and technical documentation.
12. Support field troubleshooting when engineering assistance is required.
13. Continuously improve system reliability, fault detection and ease of servicing.

Who can apply

1. have minimum 1 years of experience

Other requirements

1. BE/BTech in Electronics, Electronics & Telecommunication, Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or a related field.

2. 1–2 years of hands-on experience in embedded systems, firmware development, or electronics product development preferred.

3. Strong fundamentals in embedded C/C++.

4. Experience working with microcontrollers such as STM32, ESP32, AVR, PIC or similar.

5. Comfortable reading circuit diagrams, datasheets, and basic PCB schematics.

6. Hands-on experience using multimeters, oscilloscopes, logic analysers, or similar debugging tools is preferred.

7. Familiarity with UART, I2C, SPI, ADC, PWM and GPIO.

8. Experience working with sensors, relays, motor drivers, pumps or industrial electronics is an advantage.

9. Exposure to IoT connectivity such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or MQTT is useful.

10. Being comfortable debugging both hardware and firmware rather than treating them as separate problems.

11. Candidates who have built real hardware projects, prototypes, or products will be strongly preferred.
