About the job

Urban World Consulting (OPC) Private Limited is seeking a motivated Junior Architect to contribute to architectural, urban development, public space, streetscape, and infrastructure projects. Fresh graduates and candidates with 1-2 years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply. Candidates currently based in Mumbai are preferred.

Key responsibilities:

1. Conduct site analysis, surveys and documentation; assist with design proposals.
2. Prepare architectural drawings, plans, elevations, sections and construction details.
3. Develop 3D models, visualisations and rendered views.
4. Prepare project reports and presentations.
5. Assist with quantity take-offs, cost estimates and bills of quantities (BOQs).
6. Coordinate with consultants, contractors, clients and other stakeholders.
7. Conduct site visits, document site conditions, and support project implementation.
8. Manage assigned tasks, collaborate with the team, and meet deadlines.
9. Travel to project locations as required.

Other requirements

2. Good understanding of architectural design, space planning, building materials, and construction detailing.

3. Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp/Revit, Photoshop, Excel, PowerPoint, and rendering software.

4. Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills.

5. Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
