About the job

We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant with knowledge of Tally, GST, and day-to-day accounting operations. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, handling billing and invoicing, and coordinating with clients and vendors for payment follow-ups. The role also involves maintaining accurate accounting data, assisting with bank reconciliation, and ensuring timely completion of accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounting & Tally: Maintain proper accounting records, manage daily financial transactions, and update entries in Tally.
2. Accounts Payable & Receivable: Handle vendor payments, customer invoices, outstanding bills, payment tracking, and receivables/payables records.
3. GST & Taxation: Assist with GST calculations, invoice verification, GST documentation, and basic GST compliance.
4. Billing & Documentation: Prepare and verify sales and purchase invoices, maintain bills and vouchers, and ensure accurate financial documentation.
5. Client & Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with clients and vendors regarding invoices, pending payments, outstanding balances, and payment follow-ups.
6. MIS & Record Management: Maintain accounting records, payment trackers, bank reconciliation, and periodic financial reports in Excel and Tally.
