This position is responsible for the design, development, operation, and maintenance of IT computer systems and JD Edwards ERP HR software applications. The engineer applies technical knowledge to define strategic direction within the discipline and to solve complex business problems through a systematic, disciplined approach, using software, hardware, and communication technologies.

Discipline-specific duties:
Apply engineering principles to the design, development, and testing of JD Edwards Human Capital Management.
Build solutions using JDE technologies such as RDA, FDA, TDA, NER, BSFN, OMW, ER Compare, Visual Studio, and data dictionary tools.
Design, support, configure, and maintain JDE application settings, processing options, data structures, data dictionary, user overrides, data sources, and application database middleware.
Requirements
Design, develop, and implement computer systems and software applications.
Plan, design, and implement complex functional and technical application/system-level designs.
Define interdependencies with other disciplines; participate in testing and certification.
Support, operate, and maintain computer systems and software applications.
Apply methods and procedures per SDLC and IT industry standards/best practices.
Stay current with industry trends to prototype and recommend technical approaches.
Travel as necessary to perform job duties.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
JDE E1 8.12 HCM/HR functional and technical knowledge.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant specialty (may be required).
5+ years of experience in the field or a related area.
Strong knowledge within the specific area of responsibility.

Ability to formulate, communicate, and implement technical solutions.
Proven ability to collaborate with technical peers.
