Module Lead for Java-based enterprise applications within Eurofins' forensic software platform. The role combines full-stack development, system architecture, and technical leadership across distributed teams supporting European forensic services and criminal justice systems.
Responsibilities
Own architecture and development of enterprise Java applications across client and server layers
Provide technical guidance and design review support to distributed development teams
Develop backend services, data models, and integration logic; optimize performance and scalability
Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines, containerized environments, and automated build processes
Support legacy system modernization, knowledge transfer, and team onboarding across nearshore and offshore centers
Requirements
8+ years hands-on Java development experience on enterprise projects
Proficiency with Java 11/17, Java EE/Jakarta EE, and Eclipse RCP
PostgreSQL, JPA/Hibernate, and WildFly Application Server expertise
Azure DevOps, Docker, Git, and CI/CD pipeline experience
Bachelor's or MCA in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent field
Strong grasp of object-oriented design, SOLID principles, and Clean Code
Proven capability in Agile/Scrum delivery and distributed team collaboration
