Responsibilities

• Study user requirements and develop specifications, designs, code, tests, and implementations that meet business, group-standard, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and design backend systems using Java, J2EE, Oracle, Spring, Hibernate, Jenkins, and Maven.
• Ensure thorough unit-test coverage using JUnit.
• Perform estimation, planning, and proactive status reporting to Paris, India, and ISPL management.
• Follow project quality processes and best practices while working independently on assigned tasks.
• Train team members and junior resources on functional and technical topics when possible.
• Support developers and testers with technical queries, conduct impact analysis, and improve regression coverage.
• Contribute to technical interviews, code reviews, technical documentation, and application quality.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in Java backend development.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of Java 8 or above, J2EE/Java EE, Spring, Hibernate, Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
• Experience with Bitbucket, JUnit, JIRA, Jenkins, and Maven.
• Ability to work as an individual contributor, collaborate with teams, explain and support change, deliver results, and share knowledge.
