We are currently seeking a Java API & Microservices Engineer / Architect to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

JOB DESCRIPTION

Primary Responsibilities:

Design, build and maintain APIs that enable data access and integration between different systems, ensuring secure data exchange and efficient data flow to address growing AI/ML and Data needs of a Fortune 500 company.
Define structure, functionality, and endpoint of DataAPI’s to meet specific business needs.
Write and implement the code for DataAPI’s using appropriate programming languages and technologies.
Automate test coverage (90+%) for DataAPI framework for unit, functional and integration tests.
Automate CICD processes and best practices.

Required Skills/Experience

10+ years of overall experience in software development with 5 or more years of relevant experience in designing, developing, deploying, and operating large data processing data pipelines at scale.
Proficiency in web service design using YAML (with JSON) and ODATA.
Experience in building Microservices using Springboot, GraphQL, etc.
Experience with Microservice architecture
Experience in building common services framework for logging, error handling, auditing, policy management, authentication, and authorization.
Experience in building Microservices using Java, Springboot, GraphQL, etc.
Good understanding of Microservice architecture with experience in containerized deployment (On Cloud, On Premise and Hybrid).
Experience in integration with Databases (Cassandra and RDBMS) and Streaming platforms (Kafka).
Experience in Continuous integration and Continuous deployment using Maven, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes.
Experience developing, implementing, and testing disaster recovery strategies.
Perform IT resiliency experiments by injecting failures into distributed system to improve the systems resiliency.
Conduct analysis on disaster recovery architecture to ensure it can meet Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) and Recovery point objectives (RPO).
UI experience is an added advantage.

Must have Skills: Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, GraphQL APIs, Microservices, SQL, Kubernetes, Docker, API testing, CI/CD, Cloud experience (Azure preferred), Datadog & Kibana,
