Eurofins seeks an L3 Operations Senior Compute Engineer to manage and optimize Azure and on-premises Hyper-V infrastructure for Environment Testing Europe. The role involves infrastructure maintenance, automation, incident resolution, and cross-team collaboration in a hybrid cloud environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage, maintain, and optimize Azure compute services and on-premises Hyper-V clusters
• Develop automation and orchestration for deployment, scaling, and infrastructure management
• Monitor infrastructure health, troubleshoot incidents, and perform root cause analysis
• Collaborate with cloud architects, network, security, and application teams on capacity planning
• Enforce security best practices and maintain infrastructure-as-code documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years managing Microsoft compute infrastructure and Hyper-V clusters
• Deep expertise in Hyper-V failover clustering, live migration, and storage management
• Windows Server administration and networking fundamentals knowledge
• PowerShell scripting skills; Azure CLI and ARM templates preferred
• Backup and disaster recovery strategy experience, preferably Veeam
• Strong English communication and technical documentation abilities
