Eurofins seeks a Linux systems engineer to design, deploy, and operate enterprise infrastructure across on-premises and Azure environments. The role involves supporting daily operations, troubleshooting technical issues, and leading infrastructure modernization initiatives across Europe.
Responsibilities
Support and maintain enterprise Linux infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments
Design and implement infrastructure solutions aligned with business and operational requirements
Participate in infrastructure transformation, migration, and standardization initiatives
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable IT services
Maintain documentation, facilitate knowledge sharing, and drive continuous improvement
Requirements
Expert knowledge of Linux operating systems, particularly RHEL and Ubuntu
Strong Linux system administration including package management, systemd, kernel tuning, and performance optimization
Advanced troubleshooting using system logs, journald, rsyslog, tcpdump, strace, and performance analysis tools
Solid understanding of Linux networking, routing, DNS, firewalling, VLANs, and TCP/IP
Experience with Bash and PowerShell scripting and operational automation
Fluent English communication skills and ability to work in multinational environments
