About the job

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare detailed 2D drawings, floor plans, furniture layouts, reflected ceiling plans, and interior elevations using AutoCAD.
2. Assist in developing lighting concepts, space planning, and material selection.
3. Prepare mood boards, material boards, design presentations, and visual layouts using Adobe Photoshop.
4. Develop detailed drawings and layouts in coordination with the design team.
5. Assist with lighting layouts, ceiling designs, furniture placement and interior detailing.
6. Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors and vendors whenever required.
7. Review drawings, incorporate revisions, and maintain accuracy in design documentation.
8. Assist with site visits, measurements and verification of site conditions.
9. Ensure design drawings and presentations are completed within project deadlines.
10. Maintain organized project files, drawings, references and documentation.

Skill(s) required

Other requirements

1. Diploma or Degree in Interior Design or a related field.

2. Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience.

3. Mandatory proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and Adobe Photoshop.

4. Good knowledge of interior layouts, furniture planning and technical drawings.

5. Good visual presentation skills and attention to detail.

6. Ability to manage tasks, meet deadlines and work collaboratively.

7. Good communication and coordination skills.

8. Knowledge of SketchUp, 3ds Max or other 3D visualization software will be added advantage

9. Basic understanding of architectural lighting and lighting layouts.

10. Experience in residential, hospitality or commercial interior projects.

12. Only candidates with an Interior Design background will be considered.
