We are looking for an experienced Mainframe Technical Lead to lead the design, development, maintenance, and delivery of enterprise mainframe https://jobeax.com/link/uTkIfl1tAHKRWQPa candidate will provide technical leadership to development teams and work closely with business and technology stakeholders to deliver scalable and reliable https://jobeax.com/link/XnflZD2dGSZYgXFG Responsibilities :- Provide technical leadership for mainframe application development and maintenance projects.- Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable mainframe solutions.- Design application architecture and technical solutions using Mainframe technologies.- Lead development, enhancement, modernization, and production-support activities.- Review technical designs, source code, and implementation approaches.- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to developers.- Troubleshoot complex application and production issues.- Coordinate with offshore/onshore teams and cross-functional stakeholders.- Manage technical dependencies and ensure timely delivery of assigned initiatives.- Support impact analysis for application changes and new requirements.- Ensure adherence to coding, development, testing, security, and documentation standards.- Participate in application modernization and integration initiatives where required.- Coordinate with testing, release management, infrastructure, and production support teams.- Conduct technical reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.- Support estimation, planning, technical risk identification, and solution https://jobeax.com/link/oHDVLOwNoGtZVM4o Skills :- 8 - 12 years of Mainframe development experience.- Strong expertise in COBOL, JCL, DB2, and CICS.- Good understanding of VSAM and Mainframe batch processing.- Experience with production support and troubleshooting.- Strong knowledge of application design and technical solutioning.- Experience leading a team or working as a technical lead.- Good understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.- Experience with source-code/version-control tools.- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.- Preferred : Experience in Mainframe modernization, API/integration, cloud migration, or distributed-system integration.
