Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Import Manager to manage end-to-end import procurement and operations. The role will be responsible for import documentation, customs coordination, compliance, costing, vendor management, logistics, and inventory movement, ensuring timely and cost-effective movement of imported goods.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end import procurement and operations.
Handle import documentation, shipping, customs clearance, and regulatory compliance.
Coordinate with international vendors, CHA, freight forwarders, and logistics partners.
Monitor import shipments, delivery schedules, and inventory movement.
Manage import costing, duties, freight, and other associated expenses.
Ensure accurate and timely documentation and ERP entries.
Coordinate with internal teams for inventory planning and material availability.
Track shipments and resolve operational issues to ensure timely delivery.
Ensure compliance with applicable import regulations and company policies.
Maintain MIS and import-related reports using MS Excel and ERP.
Key Requirements:
10–15 years of experience in Import Procurement & Operations.
Graduate / MBA in Export-Import Management or relevant qualification.
Strong experience in import documentation, customs coordination, international logistics, and compliance.
Experience in vendor management, import costing, and inventory coordination.
Good working knowledge of MS Excel and ERP systems .
Strong coordination, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Experience in Edible Oil / FMCG industry is Must .
