LAYOUT CENTRE AND HYDRAULIC PROJECT ENGINEERS SUPPORT Job Purpose:The role is responsible for ensuring the completeness, correctness, and consistency of model-related engineering data, hydraulic documentation, drawings, and database systems used within the hydraulic R&D environment, and for their maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain and update internal engineering lists related to models, project documentation, and hydraulic databases.
* Verify model measurements and Hydraulic Database (HDB) entries for completeness,accuracy, and plausibility. Prepare and organise model documentation packages for internal and external use.
* Review hydraulic contour drawings for completeness and basic technical correctness.
* Maintain model documentation directories and ensure proper document version control.
* Support standardization and continuous improvement of model systematics and engineering documentation.
* Coordinate with hydraulic project engineers and layout teams to ensure smooth data flow.
* Provide administrative and technical support for R&D documentation activities.
* Assist in the preparation of reports, records, and technical archives.
* Support global engineering teams through timely data management and coordination.
Educational Qualification & Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Hydraulics, or related technical discipline.
- Experience in engineering documentation, layout support, or technical data management is preferred.
- Knowledge of MS Office tools and engineering data management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
- Good Communication skills
- Ability to work in a structured and process environment
