About the Opportunity
Job Nexus India is hiring an HR Assistant for one of its client organisations. This role is suitable for freshers who are detail-oriented and comfortable handling structured, execution-focused HR support tasks in a remote work environment.
Role Overview
The HR Assistant will support the HR team with day-to-day data management, tracking, and coordination activities. The role focuses on accurate data handling, task updates, and maintaining organised HR records while working closely under the guidance of the HR Lead.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Responsibilities
Enter and update data in Google Sheets related to hiring, attendance, documents, and task status
Upload, rename, and organise files as per defined naming conventions
Update task progress and status in Asana
Cross-check entries for accuracy and completeness
Identify and flag missing or unclear information for the HR Lead
Weekly Responsibilities
Review and clean data sheets to remove errors, duplicates, or formatting issues
Ensure all assigned trackers are fully updated
Share a brief weekly status update on completed work
Support additional data-related HR tasks as assigned
Skills & Requirements
Basic knowledge of Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to follow instructions precisely
Reliable, consistent, and organised work approach
Comfort with repetitive and structured data tasks
Performance Indicators
Accuracy of data entry
