Job Description
Lead daily briefings with housekeeping staff to communicate priorities, expectations, and performance goals while providing guidance, support, and constructive feedback
Ensure guest rooms, balconies, corridors, linen rooms, and all public areas are maintained according to established standards and procedures
Oversee cleanliness and maintenance of lobbies, hallways, common spaces, and respond promptly to guest requests and damage reports
Conduct regular room inspections and quality control checklists to verify compliance with standards
Maintain accurate documentation including section floor reports, room status, and occupancy information in the designated system
Manage housekeeping equipment maintenance schedules and coordinate inventory levels and supply ordering to optimize resource utilization
Implement and promote health, safety, and hygiene protocols across all housekeeping operations
Train and develop team members to enhance their skills and career growth while assessing attendance, punctuality, and performance
Report any unusual behavior or activities on floors to the Executive Housekeeper or management
Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment that encourages open communication and mutual support
Qualifications
Proven experience in housekeeping management or supervisory role within the hospitality industry
Strong knowledge of housekeeping standards, procedures, health, safety, and sanitation regulations
Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage a diverse team effectively
Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasks
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with professional guest and staff interaction
Problem-solving abilities and sound decision-making skills
Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and documentation
Experience with inventory management and cost control awareness
Physical stamina and ability to perform regular floor inspections
Customer-focused mindset with commitment to guest satisfaction
Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced work environment with flexible scheduling availability
