Job Description – Site Engineer (Railway Project)

Project Location: Salem, Tamil Nadu

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering

Experience: 3–4 Years

Salary: Up to 50K

Job Summary

We are looking for a Site Engineer with hands-on experience in railway infrastructure projects to supervise civil construction activities, manage labour, monitor progress, and ensure quality and safety at the project site.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise railway civil works, including earthwork, embankments, drainage, culverts and foundations.
  

• Read drawings and check site measurements, levels and alignment.
  

• Manage labour, subcontractors and daily site activities.
  

• Monitor project progress, quality standards and safety compliance.
  

• Prepare daily progress reports and maintain site records.
  

• Coordinate with project managers, survey and QA/QC teams.
  

Requirements

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
  

• 3–4 years of relevant site execution experience.
  

• Railway project experience is mandatory.
  

• Experience in civil construction, labour management and site supervision.
  

• Basic MS Office knowledge; AutoCAD is an advantage.
  

• Willingness to work at the project site in Salem.
