• Greet and welcome guests with warmth and professionalism upon arrival at the restaurant or dining venue, setting a positive tone for their experience
• Seat guests promptly and present menus while providing knowledgeable information about current specials, dining options, and menu highlights
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them clearly to kitchen and bar staff, ensuring all special requests and dietary requirements are noted
• Deliver food and beverages to guests in a timely manner, ensuring proper presentation, temperature standards, and attention to detail
• Provide personalized recommendations on menu items, beverage pairings, and dining experiences based on guest preferences and needs
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience and address any concerns, special requests, or issues promptly and professionally
• Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness and organization in the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations
• Clear and reset tables efficiently between seatings while preserving the ambiance and comfort of the dining space
• Process guest payments accurately and professionally, including handling cash, credit cards, and digital transactions with integrity
• Collaborate effectively with kitchen, bar, and housekeeping teams to support seamless service delivery and a positive work environment
• Comply with all health, safety, and food service regulations, as well as organizational service standards and procedures
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests with courtesy and empathy, escalating complex issues to management when necessary
• Contribute to a supportive team environment by assisting colleagues during peak service periods and sharing best practices

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in food and beverage service or guest-facing hospitality roles
• Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer skills
• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage guests professionally
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, and carry items for extended periods during service
• Flexibility to work varied shift schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
• Demonstrated ability to handle guest concerns with empathy and resolve issues professionally
