Pfizer seeks a Group Manager for Quality Control at its Vizag facility to lead analytical testing operations and QC teams. The role encompasses laboratory oversight, equipment management, stability studies, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and manage QC teams with performance reviews, development planning, and succession readiness
Oversee in-process, finished product, stability, and retention sample testing operations
Ensure equipment qualification, calibration, and lifecycle management compliance for laboratory instruments
Approve stability protocols, reports, and manage annual submissions and retention sample activities
Support incident investigations, deviations, CAPAs, and regulatory audit representation
Requirements

Minimum 10+ years pharmaceutical industry experience in Quality Control
Extensive cGMP compliance knowledge for QC laboratories and data integrity
Demonstrated expertise in analytical testing, stability management, and equipment qualification
Experience with audit handling, regulatory inspections, and CAPA management
Proven people leadership and performance management capabilities
Proficiency across analytical techniques and QC instrumentation
