About the job

You will own how Dhatri looks, on the pack and on the screen. You'll create print-ready packaging artwork for our products and use AI tools to produce images and videos for Amazon, our website, Instagram, and WhatsApp. We have a defined brand system (colours, fonts, visual rules), and your job is to apply it with care and make it better.

Key Responsibilities:

A. Packaging artwork:
1. Design packaging artwork for new products and redesign existing ones: pouches, jute bag labels, boxes, stickers and inserts
2. Prepare print-ready files with correct dielines, bleed, colour settings and resolution, and coordinate with printers until approval
3. Lay out mandatory label information accurately: nutrition table, ingredients, FSSAI details, batch and date fields, barcodes and claims
4. Keep every SKU's artwork organised, version-controlled and consistent with the brand system

B. AI images and videos:
1. Create product images and lifestyle visuals using AI tools, matching our visual style: warm, natural, documentary, no plastic, no studio look
2. Produce short AI-assisted videos and reels for Instagram, Amazon and our website
3. Build Amazon listing images, A+ content and brand store creatives
4. Design social media posts, WhatsApp campaign creatives and festive campaign assets
5. Build and maintain a library of reusable prompts, templates and brand assets

What's hard about this role?

Packaging leaves no room for error: one wrong number on a nutrition panel means reprinting thousands of packs, so you must check everything twice. AI tools give fast results but rarely perfect ones, and you'll need the judgement to fix, edit, and reject outputs until they look truly on-brand. We're a small team, so you'll often take briefs directly from the founder and juggle print deadlines with daily content.

Compensation: 2,50,000 fixed (about 20,800 per month) + up to 50,000 variable, based on performance against quarterly goals
Location: Our office in Nerul, Navi Mumbai. 3 days a week in the office; remaining days flexible. Candidates must live in Navi Mumbai or within easy commuting distance.

Other requirements

A. You should have:

1. A degree or diploma in design, fine arts, or a related field, or an equivalent strong portfolio

2. 1–3 years of experience in graphic design, ideally with packaging or FMCG brands

3. Strong skills in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop (CorelDRAW is a plus)

4. Hands-on experience with AI image and video tools such as Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, Runway, Kling, or similar

5. Understanding of print production: dielines, CMYK, bleed, paper and material finishes

6. A portfolio that shows both print packaging and digital or AI work

B. Strong bonus:

1. Experience designing food or FMCG packaging, including nutrition and FSSAI label layouts

2. Experience creating Amazon listing images and A+ content

3. Basic video editing skills (Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar)

4. A feel for earthy, natural, premium aesthetics

5. Marathi or Hindi
