JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a technically skilled and customer-oriented Service Engineer with a minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical maintenance and servicing of industrial equipment. The role includes installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, breakdown maintenance and repair activities at customer sites. Candidates with hands-on experience servicing any type of industrial machinery or mechanical equipment are encouraged to apply.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance of industrial equipment.
  

• Diagnose mechanical faults and troubleshoot equipment failures.
  

• Carry out inspection, servicing, repair and replacement of mechanical components.
  

• Attend customer service calls and provide timely technical support at customer locations.
  

• Perform equipment installation, commissioning and trial runs wherever required.
  

• Identify root causes of equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.
  

• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, equipment manuals and technical documentation.
  

• Verify equipment operation and safety after servicing.
  

• Prepare service reports and maintain records of maintenance activities.
  

• Coordinate with customers and the internal technical team to ensure effective service delivery.
  

• Follow company safety procedures and maintenance standards; travel to customer sites as required.
  

Requirements

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance and servicing of industrial equipment.
  

• Working knowledge of mechanical components such as bearings, gearboxes, motors, pumps and drive systems.
  

• Basic knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulics is preferred.
  

• Understanding of preventive maintenance, breakdown analysis and troubleshooting.
  

• Ability to use mechanical tools and measuring instruments.
  

• Good problem-solving and communication skills, with a customer-focused attitude.
  

• Willingness to travel for field service assignments.
  

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME) or B.E. / B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering.
  

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in industrial equipment servicing or mechanical maintenance.
  

• Experience with any industrial machinery or equipment is acceptable.
  

• Freshers are not preferred for this position.
