Position Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Global Project Support Analyst to support global projects through data validation, reporting, dashboard management, and project coordination.

The role involves validating project data, maintaining accurate databases, preparing executive-level reports, and tracking project milestones, payments, and approvals. The ideal candidate will have experience in audit, assurance, or internal controls, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, and MS Project.

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Validation and Database Integrity

• Review, cross-check, and validate data submitted by project teams to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency across master databases and working files.

• Validate impact metrics and supporting evidence against established reporting standards and documentation requirements.

• Maintain structured Excel workbooks, including formula accuracy, version control, and organised SharePoint documentation.

• Identify data discrepancies and gaps, coordinate with stakeholders for resolution, and maintain validation records.

• Develop and maintain Gantt charts in MS Project to track project timelines, dependencies, milestones, and deliverables.

• Monitor deadlines, milestone payments, approvals, and project risks; follow up with relevant stakeholders and escalate potential delays.

• Identify opportunities to improve data validation processes and introduce automation where appropriate.

2. Dashboards and Executive Presentations

• Collect, consolidate, analyse, and verify information from multiple sources to prepare accurate reports.

• Build, maintain, and update Power BI dashboards to support project tracking and performance analysis.

• Prepare and review executive-ready PowerPoint presentations, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and consistency across reports and databases.

• Support project steering committee meetings, project reviews, governing council meetings, and leadership discussions.

• Coordinate project advisory group meetings, including presentation materials, meeting minutes, action items, and timely circulation of documentation.

• Support reporting on project performance and sustainability impact metrics.

3. Project Management Support

• Provide day-to-day project coordination support to Project Managers, tracking milestones, deliverables, approvals, and payments.

• Assist in preparing project documentation, including change requests, executive summaries, and closure reports, ensuring completeness and compliance with established processes.

• Coordinate with Project Managers, project leaders, and funding recipients to obtain missing information, resolve documentation gaps, and maintain project progress.

• Review invoices and deliverables, initiate disbursement requests, and help resolve issues related to Microsoft Business Central.

• Support project pipeline documentation, internal and external audits, data analysis, and site visits as required.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Project Management, or a related field.

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in data validation, audit, assurance, reporting, or project coordination.

• Prior experience in audit, assurance, internal controls, or compliance is strongly preferred.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and hands-on experience with Power BI dashboard development and maintenance.

• Strong PowerPoint skills, with the ability to prepare polished, executive-ready presentations.

• Experience with MS Project or equivalent Gantt-chart tools and familiarity with SharePoint.

• Exposure to invoice processing, project documentation, or Microsoft Business Central is an advantage.
