Contribute to the development of advanced AI systems by evaluating their ability to understand and respond naturally to spoken German in realistic customer service situations. In this freelance project, you will simulate complex interactions across travel, financial services, and technical support to assess conversational accuracy and effectiveness. You will review AI-generated responses against structured evaluation criteria, helping identify gaps in comprehension, reasoning, and task completion. Your work will also support the creation of reliable audio datasets that reflect real-world communication standards and customer expectations. The role combines language expertise, analytical thinking, and basic technical knowledge in a flexible, remote environment. It is ideal for detail-oriented professionals who want to help improve the quality and reliability of conversational AI. Accountabilities: As a German Audio Evaluations Specialist, you will independently design and conduct realistic evaluation scenarios, assess AI performance, and contribute structured data that supports model improvement. - Create and execute role-play scenarios that simulate authentic customer service interactions in travel, financial services, telecommunications, and technical support. - Evaluate AI-generated audio interactions using standardized qualitative and quantitative criteria, focusing on task completion, conversational naturalness, and audio comprehension. - Assess the model’s ability to understand and work with basic programming concepts, including JSON structures, functions, methods, and structured data. - Identify weaknesses in conversational accuracy, clarity, reasoning, and adherence to task requirements. - Generate diverse, high-quality evaluation datasets that reflect realistic customer expectations and natural conversational flow. - Follow detailed prompts, evaluation rubrics, and technical guidelines to ensure consistent and reliable results.

- Work autonomously to deliver accurate assessments and structured feedback that help improve conversational AI performance. Requirements: The ideal candidate combines strong German language proficiency with practical experience in customer support, technical troubleshooting, or conversational AI evaluation. You should be comfortable conducting simulated voice interactions, analyzing complex responses, and applying structured evaluation criteria. - Native or bilingual proficiency in German, with strong reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills. - Demonstrable professional experience in complex customer support, technical troubleshooting, or conversational AI evaluation. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess responses objectively and identify inconsistencies. - Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to conduct realistic customer service role-plays. - Basic programming literacy, including familiarity with JSON structures, functions, methods, and simple logical concepts. - Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow complex instructions, structured prompts, and evaluation rubrics. - Access to a high-quality microphone for clear and reliable audio input during voice evaluations. - A secure computer and a high-speed internet connection suitable for remote work.
