Fund Accounting Manager (Investment Management) in Rāniganj, India

Manager - Fund Accounting | Private Equity / Private Credit | Hyderabad (Hybrid) Location: Hyderabad (Hybrid)
Experience: 8 to 12 years

We are hiring for a global fund administration and financial services organisation building out its fund accounting team in Hyderabad. Four Manager positions are open, two aligned to Private Equity funds and two to Private Credit funds.

What you will do
Own end to end NAV production for PE or Private Credit funds, including capital events, expenses and valuations
Review journal entries, management fee and expense accruals, and investment valuations
For Private Equity: capital calls, distributions, PCAP, waterfall and carry
For Private Credit: loan level accounting, interest accruals, PIK, OID and fee amortisation, paydowns and credit facilities
Handle monthly and quarterly cash and trade reconciliations with custodians
Prepare holdings roll forwards, wire payments and financial statement work papers
Lead and mentor a team of 10 to 15 fund accountants
Own SLA delivery across daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly cycles
Maintain accounting policies, internal controls and documentation in line with US GAAP
Manage client calls, onshore and offshore MIS, new client transitions and process improvement projects

What we are looking for

• 8 to 12 years in fund accounting within Private Equity, Private Credit, Asset Management or Fund Administration
• Hands-on ownership of NAV and capital events for either asset class
• Proven experience managing a team of fund accountants
• Working knowledge of US GAAP
• CA, CMA, ACCA or equivalent preferred
• Exposure to Investran, eFront, Allvue, Wall Street Office (WSO) or Solvas is an advantage
