We are seeking an experienced accounting professional with strong expertise in Australian taxation and compliance. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in preparing Business Activity Statements (BAS), Australian tax returns, and year-end financial statements for a diverse client portfolio.
Preparation and lodgement of BAS and IAS.
Preparation of year-end financial statements and working papers.
Preparation of individual, partnership, company, trust, and SMSF tax returns.
Calculating and advising on Capital Gains Tax (CGT) matters.
Superannuation compliance and reconciliation activities.
GST reconciliations and related reporting requirements.
Strong understanding of Australian taxation legislation and accounting principles.
Practical experience with Division 7A, CGT, Superannuation, GST, and BAS preparation.
Proficiency in Xero, MYOB, and HandiSoft software.
Experience preparing year-end financial statements and tax compliance work.
Indian accounting professional with experience supporting Australian accounting firms or Australian clients.
Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience in Australian taxation and accounting.
