Role Overview
As a Java Full Stack Developer , you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, enhancing, and supporting scalable full-stack enterprise applications .

You will work across both backend and frontend layers, developing robust services using Java and Spring Boot , building and integrating RESTful APIs and microservices , and creating responsive user interfaces using Angular or React .

You will collaborate closely with business analysts, architects, QA engineers, DevOps teams, product stakeholders, and other developers to translate business requirements into reliable, secure, maintainable, and performance-oriented technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable Java full-stack applications .
Develop robust backend services using Java, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot .
Design, build, and integrate RESTful APIs , web services, and microservices .
Develop responsive, maintainable, and user-friendly frontend applications using Angular or React .
Work with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3 to build modern user interfaces.
Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and enterprise services.
Work with relational databases and write efficient SQL queries .
Participate in application design, coding, unit testing, code reviews, debugging, deployment, and production support.
Troubleshoot application issues and perform effective root-cause analysis .
Ensure application performance, scalability, security, reliability, and code quality .
Write clean, maintainable, secure, and well-documented code in accordance with engineering standards.
Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA engineers, DevOps teams, product owners, and other engineering stakeholders .
Participate actively in Agile ceremonies , including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, and technical discussions.
Follow coding standards, development best practices, secure development principles, and version-control processes.
Support deployment activities and contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automation initiatives .
Prepare and maintain relevant technical documentation.
Contribute to continuous improvement of development practices, tooling, automation, and engineering quality.

Key Skills and Experience

• 4–6 years of relevant hands-on experience in Java Full Stack development.
• Strong programming experience in Java / Java 8+ .
• Strong knowledge of Spring Framework and Spring Boot .
• Hands-on experience developing RESTful APIs / Web Services .
• Good understanding of Microservices Architecture .
• Experience with Hibernate / JPA .
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design principles, and software engineering practices .
• Hands-on frontend development experience with Angular or React .
• Strong working knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3 .
• Experience integrating frontend applications with REST APIs.
• Good experience with relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server .
• Strong understanding of SQL and database concepts .
• Experience with version-control platforms such as Git, GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket .
• Experience using Maven or Gradle .
• Familiarity with unit-testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito .
• Experience using API testing tools such as Postman .
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and exposure to tools such as Jenkins .
• Experience working in Agile / Scrum development environments .
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with business and technology stakeholders.

Good to Have
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes .
Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP .
Knowledge of Kafka or other messaging technologies .
Familiarity with SonarQube or similar code-quality tools.
Experience with automated testing frameworks.
Understanding of application security and secure coding practices .
Exposure to production support, performance optimisation, and application monitoring .
Experience in enterprise-scale application development or modernization initiatives.
Familiarity with Agile collaboration tools such as JIRA and Confluence .
Prior experience in the insurance, BFSI, or financial services domain will be an advantage.
