Overview : We are seeking talented researchers to join our Quantum Technology R&D team at Fujitsu. The researcher carries out original research in the field of Quantum Technology according to Fujitsu's Quantum https://jobeax.com/link/Iicozqmlxw5HuYMO : - Conduct novel research activities in the field of quantum computing- Produce patents and technical reports on the proposed approaches through detailed theoretical and numerical analysis- Understand the impact of the research with respect to the development roadmaps of fault-tolerant quantum computation- Test novel ideas using quantum simulators or real-quantum hardware as applicable- Participate in developing relevant quantum software libraries as required- Build and participate in team projects and team deliverables with potential business outcomes- Publish research work in top-journals and international conferences- Stay on top of current research literature and advancements in related areas- Present work and progress to senior leadership- Give technical talks on recent, relevant developments as part of research activities- Participate in industry-academia collaborative researchRequired Skills : - PhD in physics, mathematics, computer science, or a related field with expertise in any subfield of quantum computing research, or applications (e.g. : quantum chemistry, materials science)- Strong track record of publications- Familiarity with latest techniques in quantum computing- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment- Effective communication skills for both technical and semi-technical presentations- Ability to take ownership of work, effective documentation/organization/progress tracking abilityPreferred Qualifications : - Experience with high-performance computing- Experience in developing or using python code- Experience with open-source quantum simulators, Git, code review, documentation (ref:hirist.tech)
