Responsibilities

Build new features for the Arango Data Platform UI and contribute to the ArangoDB UI.
Develop interfaces for graph visualization, data exploration, query and developer tooling, AI-powered agent and GraphRAG experiences, and dashboards.
Modernize legacy frontend code by migrating it to React and TypeScript.
Partner with designers to implement Figma designs and prototypes while applying UX judgment.
Own features from requirements definition through shipping and iteration.
Collaborate with backend and AI/ML engineers to integrate APIs and accurately represent platform capabilities in the UI.

At least 3 years of relevant experience developing frontend applications.
Strong understanding of JavaScript, React, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
Basic understanding of BackboneJS and jQuery.
Good UX comprehension and understanding of API-based communication with backends.
Ability to work through complex code and develop reasonable solutions.
Good communication and articulation skills.
Willingness to take feature or product ownership and drive development.
Experience with unit testing and end-to-end testing is a plus.
Open-source contributions and ArangoDB, SQL, or NoSQL database knowledge are a plus.
Experience with Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui, or agentic workflow tools such as Claude Code or Codex is a plus.

Work from home; candidates must live in and be authorized to work in India.
Some travel may be required.
