Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and launch high-quality web experiences for FBA sellers worldwide.
Translate complex inventory placement, capacity, cost, and delivery workflows into intuitive customer experiences.
Own front-end features and components from design through implementation, launch, measurement, and continuous improvement.
Build reusable UI components, frameworks, and patterns for consistency and faster development.
Make architectural and technology decisions for large-scale front-end applications.
Integrate front-end applications with APIs and distributed backend services while handling latency, failures, asynchronous operations, and changing data.
Deliver responsive, performant, secure, and accessible experiences across browsers, devices, marketplaces, and seller workflows.
Use software engineering fundamentals to write extensible, testable, and maintainable code.
Improve engineering quality through code reviews, automated testing, observability, and continuous improvement.
Investigate customer and operational issues across the application stack and drive them to resolution.
Collaborate across FBA and Amazon to influence technical direction and deliver multi-system experiences.
Mentor other engineers and contribute to engineering best practices.
Requirements
At least 2 years of non-internship professional front-end, web, or mobile software development experience using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
At least 4 years of experience with computer science fundamentals, including object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis.
Experience using JavaScript frameworks such as Angular and React.
Preferred: at least 1 year of Agile software development methodology experience.
Preferred: experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.
