Founding Data Engineer (BigQuery, Python, SQL) in Bangalore, भारत

Trident Automobiles is a multi-brand dealer group: Hyundai, Renault, JCB, BharatBenz.

We're hiring our first data engineer to build the group's data platform from zero. You design and own the whole foundation and report directly to leadership.

What you'll do

- Build pipelines from messy real sources: scheduled exports, APIs (Tally, RealBooks, Interakt, CRM), and RPA for systems with no API

- Stand up and own our BigQuery warehouse - Solve customer identity resolution across four brands

- Backfill and structure years of historical data

- Build Looker Studio dashboards for leadership

- Later: internal apps (Firebase) and AI tooling.

You're a fit if you

- Have 4+ years building data pipelines end-to-end, ideally in scrappy environments

- Are strong in SQL and Python - Have used a cloud warehouse (BigQuery, Redshift or Snowflake; BigQuery a plus)

- Are fine with dirty data and pragmatic workarounds

- Can explain technical work plainly to non-technical leadership (essential)

- Own things without hand-holding Nice to have: RPA (UiPath, Python automation), BI/dashboards, automotive/finance data, Firebase.

Compensation: Very competitive, based on experience.
