About the job

Most assistants wait to be given a task. We need someone who finds it, does it, and tells Jason Zac it is done. Jason teaches, records the lessons for our YouTube channel, and builds our apps. You own everything around that, so his hours go to the work only he can do.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage the founder's calendar, reminders, and commitments, ensuring all promised calls, follow-ups, and tasks are tracked and completed on time.
2. Monitor and organize the founder's email and WhatsApp communications, respond to routine queries independently, and escalate matters requiring the founder's decisions.
3. Convert the founder's verbal instructions into clear, professional emails, letters, notices, and messages that reflect his communication style.
4. Communicate professionally in English with students, parents, teachers, and vendors through phone calls and WhatsApp, ensuring accurate, warm, and timely responses to students across different countries.
5. Track fees, attendance, and pending tasks on the learning portal and spreadsheets, and prepare weekly reports independently.
6. Assist with workshop and event coordination, music app testing, and management of the school's YouTube channel.
7. Take ownership of assigned tasks, ensure accurate and timely completion, and progressively handle responsibilities independently.

About us: Nathaniel School of Music in Bengaluru has students in 21 countries. We teach live at our studio and online; our YouTube channel @nathanielmusicschool has over 125,000 subscribers, and we build our own learning portal and music apps. You will sit in our studio in Langford Town, Shanti Nagar, Monday to Saturday, 9 am to 5 pm. In person, Bengaluru residents only. No work from home.
