Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Financial Controller to lead accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls for the India region. The role combines financial oversight with strategic partnership to drive sound decision-making and support organizational growth.
Responsibilities
Oversee month-end close and financial reporting in compliance with policies and standards
Partner with finance and business teams on strategic initiatives and financial objectives
Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and provide decision-support insights
Build and maintain robust internal controls environment to mitigate risks and protect assets
Lead India finance team, mentor direct reports, and develop emerging leaders
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
10+ years finance or accounting experience; minimum 5 years in financial leadership
Experience leading large teams preferred
Strong accounting and financial reporting knowledge
Proficiency in HFM, SAP, Oracle E1, and advanced Excel
