Finance & Operations Executive

Location: Pune/ Chennai (on-site)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary: ₹2.4 to 3 LPA (based on experience)

Experience: 1 to 3 years

Job Summary:

We are looking for a sharp, proactive Finance & Operations Executive to run the day-to-day engine of our business. In this role, you will keep the machine moving—managing books, vendor pipelines, field executive support, and compliance—so leadership can focus on high-stakes strategic work.

If you love variety, thrive in dynamic environments, and view a wide range of responsibilities as an opportunity to learn rapidly, this role is built for you.

Key Responsibilities:

Finance & Accounting (~60%)

Core Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate, timely data entry in Tally / Zoho Books.

Payables & Receivables: Handle vendor payment runs, statement reconciliations, invoicing, and active collection follow-ups.

Negotiations & Recovery: Confidently contact clients and customers via phone/email to negotiate payment terms, settle accounts, and recover outstanding funds.

Specialized Documentation: Assist healthcare clients with medical device finance documentation and approval workflows.

MIS & Expense Tracking: Track day-to-day business expenses and compile regular basic MIS reports.

Taxation & Audit Support: Assist senior leadership with GST filings, TDS processing, and year-end audit preparation (assisting role, not ownership).

Operations & Administration (~40%)

Field & Sales Support: Serve as the central point of contact for field and sales executives, assisting with operational needs and processing their expense reimbursements.

Vendor Onboarding: Manage vendor communications, documentation, and onboarding paperwork.

Petty Cash & Logistics: Oversee petty cash registers and coordinate end-to-end travel logistics and reimbursements.

Compliance & Records: Maintain audit-ready document systems, tracking license validity, renewals, and compliance calendars.

General Office Ops: Address ad-hoc operational bottlenecks to keep the office and team running smoothly.

Qualifications:

Qualified: Educational background in https://jobeax.com/link/qWXnjFgQhSFTUarO, https://jobeax.com/link/ZrBIZ59t5D5W9yrg, or Inter-CA.

Experienced: 1 to 3 years in core finance, accounting, or operational admin roles.

Tech-Savvy: Skilled in MS Excel (vlookups, pivot tables) and hands-on with Tally or Zoho Books.

Strong Communicator: Comfortable on the phone, persistent with follow-ups, and unflappable when negotiating payment timelines.

Self-Driven: High ownership mindset—you follow up without needing to be chased.

Nice-to-Haves

Prior experience in a fast-paced startup or SME environment.

Prior exposure to basic GST and TDS compliance.

A track record of successfully wearing multiple hats across finance and admin.

This Role Is NOT For You If:

You are a qualified CA looking to own full financial strategy and books end-to-end.

You require a strictly defined, narrow scope of work and clean corporate lanes.
