About the job

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented finance & operations executive with 1-5 years of experience to manage day-to-day accounting, financial reconciliations, reporting, and business operations. The candidate should have a good understanding of accounting fundamentals, strong Excel skills, and the ability to coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

A. Finance Operations (60%):
1. Maintain accounting records, ledger entries, expenses, and financial documentation.
2. Manage customer invoicing, receivables, collection follow-ups, vendor bills, and payment tracking.
3. Assist with GST/TDS compliance, bank reconciliation, and UPI/payment gateway reconciliations.
4. Track vendor settlements, refunds, outstanding balances, and transaction discrepancies.
5. Prepare financial MIS, expense reports, and receivables/payables statements.
6. Support monthly financial closure, audits, and statutory documentation.

B. Business Operations (40%):

1. Coordinate with finance, HR, sales, technology, product, and external stakeholders.
2. Track operational tasks, approvals, pending activities, and deadlines.
3. Manage vendor/customer follow-ups, documentation, and routine issue resolution.
4. Maintain operational trackers, MIS reports, and process documentation.
5. Identify process gaps and support improvements in operational efficiency.

Key performance expectations:

1. Accurate and timely accounting, invoicing, and financial reporting.
2. Timely completion of reconciliations and collection follow-ups.
3. Reliable maintenance of financial and operational MIS.
4. Timely closure of assigned tasks and resolution of discrepancies.
5. Proper documentation and adherence to internal processes.

Other requirements

1. Graduate in commerce, finance, accounting, or business administration.

2. 1–5 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance operations, or business operations.

3. Basic working knowledge of accounting, invoicing, GST/TDS, and reconciliations.

4. Good proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets.

5. Hands-on experience with Tally, Zoho Books, or similar accounting software.

6. Strong numerical accuracy, analytical skills, communication, and follow-up abilities.

7. A proactive approach, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.

8. Preferred: Experience in fintech, SaaS, digital payments, UPI, or payment gateway operations.
